The 550 display has the capability to be a two block system or a full blown load moment indicator (LMI). You choose the application and ICT can assist with designing a system to fit your organizational needs.

Features of the GS550:


• Display can monitor up to 32 sensors simultaneously
• The GS radio utilizes two way communication; the display as well as the transmitter are constantly “talking" to each other. This two way communication allows for a range of up to 4,000 feet with a clear line of site.
• The display is the dominant transmitter in this arrangement, upon being powered down the display tells the sensors to hibernate until the display is powered up again. This means that under normal operating conditions of 8-10 hour days, clients can expect a 2 year battery life from each sensor.
• Display will as standard data log up to 15,000 events. Events can include out of limit alarms, productivity data. Data content can be downloaded via infrared port to a Palm Pilot
• All sensors as well as the display utilize a potting compound that encases the electronics. This means that failures from vibration, moisture, and salt are significantly reduced.
• All sensors are Stainless Steel. This product holds up very well in all operating conditions around the Globe.
• Operating Temperature: -22F to +170F; -30C to +75
• All sensors utilize the same “changeable” antenna and each system purchased comes with a spare. Down time is cut significantly since repairs can be made on site.
• All load cells will arrive pre-calibrated with certificates.
• Line riders and load pins can be calibrated on site with two known weights. Calibration is done by following the on screen directions, no complicated manual is needed.
• Accuracy of ICT load cells are plus or minus 1% on a light load and .01% on a heavy load.
• Class 1 Div 1 sensors are available for hazardous locations.
• Oil field applications may require radio silence for jobs such as perforating. Since the display hibernates all sensors when the power is shut off, this allows the ICT line of products to maintain radio silence for these classified jobs.
